Workshop 1
Return On Asset Reliability (ROAR™)
Return On Asset Reliability is a non-traditional approach to financial
metrics and how they can be used to justify reliability improvement
initiatives. Most companies have institutionalized their
inefficiencies. Which is a nice way of saying, they have little clue
about how much hidden capacity their existing operations have. And
instead of identifying and eliminating the sources of these
inefficiencies, they find it easier to ask for capital monies to expand
their current operations. ROAR provides a way to quickly and easily
understand the costs associated with these decisions.
In this one day workshop, you will step through building a plant level
ROAR and learn what data you will need to collect to build a model for
your plant. You will calculate the cost savings associated with
achieving Best Practice in Maintenance and be introduced to how to
utilize Reliability Process Plots to quantify the true Overall Equipment
Effectiveness (OEE) improvement opportunity for your facility, instead
of depending on the standard OEE multipliers that while proven, no one
believes.
Each workshop participant will get:
-
An interactive Return On Asset
Reliability Workbook
-
Return On Asset Reliability Data
Collection Worksheet
-
Proactive Workflow Model / Asset
Health Assurance Model Poster
